Once Saved Always Saved? What is Salvation even?

We have the promise to be saved. There is a reason why faith and manifestation are not the same thing. Faith is believing in something that is not, as though it is Hebrews 11:1. Salvation is something that you believe in that is not but you are to believe as though it is. This is why we say “I am saved” and not say “I am not saved” So the purpose of this is not to say you are not saved. But the reality of the Bible is that you do not have manifestation of that salvation yet. That is why you must keep the faith. Scriptures like Hebrews 3:14 we are made partakers of Christ IF IF IF we hold the beginning of our confidence (FAITH) stedfast unto the end. Look at that verse again. It does not say you are not partakers right now. It says you are partakers If you keep the faith. So every day you believe you are a partakers. Why do I say this? Read down in the same chapter. Verse 15 While it is said , TO DAY if you will hear his voice,  do not harden your hearts. TODAY. Everyday is a day to believe or not believe. But we dont live in a life of trying to not not believe. Even if you go up two verses, Hebrews 3:13 “But exhort one another daily, while it is called To day; lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin.” Daily. Today. Because if you read down, you’ll remember that Moses had a “promise” and for forty years he was faithful until one day he decided to strike a rock that God said to speak to and it showed unbelief in his heart which then he lost his promise. That is the story Verses 16-19 are talking about. So yes you can lose faith, consequently you’d lose the promise.

This is why on the topic of salvation people say once saved, always saved. Well if we are talking about the next life when we have manifestation of salvation….then I agree but if we are talking about in this life while we only have the promise then I disagree. That is why scriptures like Hebrews 6:4-6 exist falling away meaning to apostatize. Where have you heard that word before? 2 Thessalonians 2:3 the day of Christ (visit verse 2) will not come until a great falling away occurs… so the Bible clearly saying that people will fall away from the faith. Not from manifested salvation.

I know that this is a lot of information. Again this is not to tell you, are not saved if you believe IN Jesus Christ. But this is the same as Hebrews 6:11 “And we desire that every one of you do shew the same diligence to the full assurance of hope unto the end” be like Abraham who waited patiently for the promise and received as Hebrews 6:13-15 speak of.

As far as those who say “But I am sealed by the Holy Spirit” thats awesome lets talk about what that seal is in 2 Corinthians 1:22. It is the “earnest” of our inheritance. what does earnest mean? A pledge, i.e. part of the purchase-money or property given in advance as security for the rest. That’s what is says verbatim in the Greek. This is the pledge to the inheritance. Not the inheritance but the pledge to the inheritance. That seal is to set you apart. For the 2nd coming. It is not the result of the second coming. It’s the same in Ephesians 1:13-14. “In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise, Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory.” There it is again about what this seal really is.

So lets talk about why this information is important. It is important so that you do NOT lose faith and KEEP the faith. Not for you to look and say “I am not saved” that would be the enemy talking to you because these verses are in the Bible and in most of the same chapter it says it is for you to keep believing.
